Today I walked into the local UPS store. After taking care of business, I was headed towards the door when a picture on a greeting card caught my attention. It was really cute. Then I had to read the next really cute card, and the next…. About 10 minutes later, a lady behind the counter said to me, “The cards here are pretty good aren’t they. Some customers say they come in just to read the cards and get happy.” I had to admit that I had been smiling on and off for about 10 minutes. It hadn’t been my intention- I was just there on business.
Sometimes happy moments happen if we are open to the idea. After leaving, I walked through the parking lot with a grin on my face. It dawned on me that happy moments happen throughout my day- because I’ve developed awareness. I choose to make happy moments.
Just sayin’ that happy moments can be found all around if we develop awareness. Today, someone needs happy moments. Today someone is lost in sadness or anger.
